Puxador (Poo-sha-door) is a samba singer who specifically sings samba theme songs called samba enredos for a samba school. The word "puxar" (poo-shar) in Portuguese means to "pull" and cannotes the idea of the singer pulling the song and the group along during their practices and parades.
